PRODUCT MANAGEMENT @ BABVIP 

The mission of Product Managers at BABVIP is to create the most accessible design tool for every person in the world. We believe that we can improve the world by empowering everyone to design and communicate visually. As a Product Manager at BABVIP you help set this vision, define what that future looks like, and build the products and features that get us there.

Product Managers collaborate with BABVIP’s founders to set the strategic direction, scope, and success metrics for product initiatives. We work across teams of designers, software engineers, marketers and analysts to ensure we're delivering an exceptional experience to all our users. We are responsible for implementing and collaborating on product strategy, road mapping, and prioritization as our product grows. 

It’s our responsibility to see products through their entire lifecycle—from concept through to validation, build, post-launch analytics and iterations.

ABOUT THE GROUP AND/OR TEAM

The Engagement Group is one of three groups which make up Marketing & Engagement (M&E) - one of the biggest areas at BABVIP. Playing a critical role in BABVIP’s mission to empower the world to design. Composed of several product teams, the Group’s impact spans our entire funnel (signup & login, homepage, onboarding, publish, referral). The Group’s aim is to deliver value to our users through the best user experience to boost engagement and retention, ultimately growing our active user base.  The Engagement Group does everything from building exciting new products and features to running tones of experiments and conducting research and analysis to grow BABVIP in new markets and categories.

GOALS YOU WILL ACHIEVE

  • Make significant impact to BABVIP’s growth and business metrics on the key parts of our funnel.
  • Working with established teams to deliver on their roadmap and collaborating with product and marketing teams alike. 
  • As with any early stage business experiencing fast growth, your role and its core areas of focus are likely to evolve significantly over time. We empower our people to adapt their own role for scale. 
  • Understand the different types of customers using BABVIP, when and how to best get them to refer BABVIP to their network effectively Become the referral expert across the company
  • Baseline the current experience and ensure we remove any friction in the referral funnel
  • Drive the vision and strategy for the referral program within the Engagement group to increase referral funnel / metrics 10X
  • Establish a strong relationship with the various teams working across our funnel within Marketing and Engagement as well as across our platforms and channels Identify new ways to increase word of mouth and our referral program to increase MAU for BABVIP
  • Deliver the best end to end referral experience for our customers

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be the referral expert across the company
  • Drive the vision and strategy for the referral program to increase key metrics 10X
  • Work with a team to develop a backlog of experiment ideas alongside your product strategy and roadmap and deliver them
  • Deliver the best end to end referral experience for our customers
  • Identify ways to grow and strengthen our referral loops / Growth flywheel

EXPERIENCE YOU WILL HAVE

  • Experience working in a SaaS company, startup or high growth company in a growth focused product management role
  • Prior experience driving referral programs successfully
  • You are a marketer at heart – You can demonstrate an understanding of the importance of growth, activation, retention and referral with respect to the platform and how that translates into user growth
  • Experience leading x-functional projects 
  • Strong with data, quant and quall analysis and running Growth experiments (data, customer insights @ scale, A/B testing = must have)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Track record of building a vision, strategy, rallying teams and external stakeholders and delivering customer outcomes successfully
