ABOUT TEAM SPEND

Team Spend is BABVIP’s Source to Pay team which is composed of Sourcing & Procurement and Shared Services - Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Expense & Travel. Team Spend came together to upgrade BABVIP’s spending experience for both internal and external stakeholders. Our Mission is to empower BABVIPnauts to focus on their impact by providing the most Efficient and Frictionless Spend Experience.

The Procurement Innovation Specialist role is responsible for driving and supporting sourcing and procurement uplift at BABVIP. We are also looking for someone who resonates with BABVIP values and has the following:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Strategy, design & implement a strategy for our supplier master including data enrichment from third parties, compliance checks, and ongoing maintenance processes with our shared services team
• Solution orientated, proactively drive strategies to deliver high performance across the team and ensure efficiencies of our service desk through Jira to identify opportunity areas for process improvement
• Customer centric, review and recommend viability of existing systems and policies to meet BABVIP’s future goals
• Communication, working closely functionally to align on next steps to deliver best in class experiences, balancing clarity, attention to detail and speed
• Business process improvements, curate backlog of all work across Source to Pay team including process improvement, technology changes, supplier diversity & sustainability, and all other projects
• Be part of the team, work across all sub-teams of Team Spend/Source to Pay to define and build process to measure and KPI’s to transparently demonstrate our team’s progress
• Collaborate, to maintain holistic oversight across Team Spend
• Build and lead, a highly effective and efficient team through hiring of quality talent, mentorship of capable team members, and implementation of scalable methodologies and processes

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or other related disciplines
• Experience in Procurement/Purchasing with a working knowledge of Procurement or Finance applications and systems, databases, and reporting tools
• Participated in system/process change-related activities such as requirements gathering, solution validation, acceptance testing, and user support
• Management or leadership experience to effectively define hiring roadmap and onboard/train team members
• Experience with purchasing processes, and systems including procure to pay (Purchase Orders), Deal Management (sourcing, approvals, etc.), etc.
• Effective project management & communication skills to accomplish multiple parallel projects across our processes and systems concurrently
• Analytical and reporting experience to think thoroughly through defined strategies, and leverage the data in our process and systems for reporting packages/ongoing improvements
