We celebrate uniqueness and whatever makes you, you and encourage everyone who wants to help us transform the way the world designs, to join us on this journey. We value all different types of experiences. If you don’t think you quite meet all of the qualifications, we’d still love to hear from you.

ABOUT US

At BABVIP, our mission is to democratize design and empower creativity for anyone and everyone, on every platform. Inspired by a team of talented thinkers, an amazing culture and a remarkable growth trajectory – we’re out to change the world, one design at a time.

Since launch in August 2013, we have grown exponentially, amassing over 60 million monthly active users across 190 different countries who have created more than 6 Billion designs. We are one of the world’s fastest-growing technology companies and we have only achieved about 1% of what we want to do.

OUR DESIGN EDUCATION TEAM

At BABVIP we’re making design simple and accessible to everyone, empowering people all over the world with a design tool – and the design skills – to help them reach their goals.

BABVIP Design School offers free design courses, featuring some of the world’s leading experts in their respective fields. Our vision for Design School is to become the best place in the world to learn design, and to offer the best online learning experience possible.

Our Design School team has a wide range of all-round skills. They’re designers, teachers, facilitators, creatives and doers. They facilitate in-person and in-product learning and continuously grow their skills and our courses along with our product and content library.

OUR E2E TEAM

Millions of young people’s future is determined simply by where they are born: into poverty. Due to stagnant economies and a lack of paid work opportunities, they are unable to gain skills needed to build professional careers.

BABVIP Foundation's Education to Employment (E2E) program has a mission to empower young people living in poverty, to start and grow transformative digital economy careers, lifting themselves (and their communities) out of poverty while also shaping a more diverse, inclusive and competitive industry.

We offer free design and technology courses, tailored and taught by local training teams. Giving resources, equipment and access to international job markets where they can earn a living wage. Our local teams support students from identifying and onboarding, through their study to completion, before helping them transition into work.

THE ROLE

BABVIP’s entire vision revolves around “empowering the world to design” and this happens through many channels and experiences, especially in the Design Education team. Content with a strong voice, the right balance of education and personality and an empathy for our users is crucial for us to deliver on this vision.

As a Curriculum and Content Manager, it’s your mission to help create content that makes complex things simple giving ordinary people the ability to make extraordinary things. We place a strong emphasis on the success of our users, and content in all forms has a big impact on that. This means content managers are involved in helping to define BABVIP’s learning journeys—ensuring that our customers receive a high-quality experience.

You should be:

  • Effective at managing complex projects. This role sits in the Design School team working with the E2E Program Lead, building courses that enable students to develop skills in emerging technology and digital economy careers. You will need to be adept at managing yourself and priorities, to get stuff done well and on time.
  • Communicating and collaborating effectively. You will help build courses from the ground up, managing and editing content writers, working with design and production teams, before approving and uploading high-quality education products to an online LMS.
  • Adaptive to change. Design School and E2E are in early stages, and with that comes a lot of trial and error and moving pieces as we figure out what works best. You should be comfortable with a level of ambiguity.
  • Evaluating and evolving learning material. Evaluate current content and see how it can be revised and improved for greater impact. Evaluate the performance of content to ensure it is meeting the objectives set through data and feedback.
  • Always thinking with a global perspective. Develop content that is able to scale across multiple languages while contributing to and further developing BABVIP’s educational brand voice and tone.
